ALT5801 (Active)
5.8 GHz +20 dBm 802.15.4 Transceiver Module
The ALT5801 is a compact 5.8 GHz ISM band wireless transceiver module with +20 dBm transmit power, implementing the full ZigBee / IEEE 802.15.4 feature set. It is designed for OEMs who wish to quickly and easily add a robust 5.8 GHz wireless link to their product, leveraging rich networking functionality for implementing products such as Internet of Things devices for IoT platforms.
The key advantage of the ALT5801 is that it utilizes the license-free 5.8 GHz ISM band, enhancing wireless link reliability by avoiding crowding and unique sources of interference present in 915 MHz and 2.45 GHz ISM bands.
The ALT5801 can be used in electronic product development for implementing embedded systems solutions such as Industrial Internet of Things devices, where the reliability of the 5.8 GHz ISM band is crucial.
